Heater will not get hot

I have a 1998 ford f150 4.6 v6 i
put the temperature control on hot
and all it blows is cold air

A problem with either the blend door or the blend door actuator. Check the net for these two topics. Unless, of course, there is a problem with a blockage inside the heater core, make sure coolant is flowing. Check the heater control valve, on the hose leading to the core, for proper operation, if so equipped..
