97 F150 no power but battery is good

Asked by GuruN92CH Oct 21, 2021 at 04:16 PM about the 1997 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

will click as I turn the hey and then die and no more juice unless I disconnect
the positive and negative battery posts. I just changed my starter yesterday,
replaces the battery posts and cleaned the wire ends connecting to the
battery. I've checked my ground wire from the battery to the starter and all
seems good. I checked the starter solenoid and it seems to be fine as will.
What am I missing. Appreciate any help anyone has.

I ran a voltage test and during my teat I found out that my batter post clamps were not as tight as I thought they were, easy fix, thanks for your time.
