1993 f150 is hard to start up in the morning . but after the first start up it works great all day no issues on starting . put the key in turn the ignition and it starts right up every time. what could be the problem.

the truck is just really hard to start in the morning some times it take 20 minutes to get it started and some times it want start for at all. come back in a couple hours it starts right up. after the first initial start up it is good for the rest of the day no issues.

does it turn over (crank) slow or not at all ? Do you hear the fuel pump prime the system when you hit the key ?

It turns over but will not crank . Yes I hear the fuel pump working. Like this morning it turns over good but would not crank. Went home at lunch put the key in the ignition and it started right up. I just tried to get a reading off the e c c but it say not receiving from the e c c ??????
