Check for spark if u have spark check for compression, if u have bad IG coil that would cause the truck not to run, the way the ford works is power goes to coil from coil to dist dist then sends signal to IG mod IG mod then sends signal to coil to "pulse" all from the brain box (if v8) on the fender (if it is the 4.9l) it will be on the dist
