Fuel tank selector valve?

91' f150. When tanks are full, return line dumps
from the rear tank to the front tank causing it to
overflow. I have researched the fuel tank selector
valve and cannot for the life of me find one, or
where one may have been at one time. I am fairly
savvy when it comes to vehicles and do all
maintenance and repairs myself on my family's 4
vehicles, if it is on the vehicle, it its not on the
frame rail where it is supposed to be. Has anyone
encountered this before, and how do I remedy it?

Also, while this symptom is very common in all fuel systems on these trucks, it’s important to know which one you have. My 1992 F150 doesn’t have the reservoir switch as outlined in the above video, but my rear tank would consistently empty into my front tank. I lived with it, until my front fuel pump failed. I replaced my fuel pump (and filter), and now, it appears to be operating correctly. Time will tell, hope this helps. P.S. - I’ve been an auto mechanic for 21 years.
Hey did anybody ever figure out how to get the selector switch bypassed
