2006 acura mdx trip computer has a black spot on the screen by the compass

I have a 2001 MDX and am having the same issue. However, the black spot moves around. It started on the far left of the screen and is now in the middle. ???

I have a 2002 MDX and had a small spot on the screen that enlarged to the size of a quarter.The dealer said he had to replace the screen-very expensive.
