Oil light issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Buick century. I get regular oil
changes usually done early and I always keep it
full. I noticed lately when I drive up the mountain I
get to about 6 or 7000 feet and my oil light comes
on. When I head back down it goes off. Why would
it start doing this out of the blue?

Ok, I can't see elevation causing that issue. sounds like a weak oil pressure sending unit.
