I have a car problem that my mechanic is continously unable to solve.

I have had my car for at most 8 months
and hadn't had a single problem until
now. Every time I start to drive my car
the engine just randomly dies. This
happens every time I drive my car now.
No one I have talked to can figure it
out. If some could help me try to figure
out the problem that would be great.

First I'm curious as to what the mechanic has already replaced. Secondly, I had a 95 Oldsmobile that would do the same thing after it got up to temperature. It took me a while trying to figure it out, I had a volt meter connected to the fuel pump while driving, just to rule out the pump, replaced the fuel filter, Cleaned, (and replaced maf sensor), replaced crank sensor, it stopped for a while, then went to the cam sensor and drove it another year and a half before it threw a rod (Due to another issue that I wasn't able to afford to fix at the time)

I am having the same problem. It always starts back up. I'm afraid to take my foot off the gas for fear it will stall so basically I am driving my automatic like a clutch. One foot on the gas and one foot on the brake. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the transmission
