2003 Buick LeSabre

Asked by Bella1962 Jan 24, 2020 at 12:00 AM about the 2003 Buick LeSabre

Question type: General

So I’m buying my first car and it’s basically to get
me to college, work and home, so I’m always on
the go and I want to make sure that the car will be
okay if used constantly. Is the 2003 Buick LeSabre
reliable enough for that? I don’t want it to break
down on me or need a ton of work done because
I’m driving it everyday.

LeSabres are quirky. Have a lot of little problems here and there. But other than the problem with pvc heat melting the intake manifold you practically can't kill them. My 2001 had that intake manifold problem. I fixed it myself. Yours may not have that problem if they fixed it by the 2003 production year. So my headliner fell down and the electric windows don't work but the car just keeps going. I have had to put on a water pump, a MAP sensor and a coil pack. Other then that, only spark plugs and oil changes. I've had mine for 12 years....still love the way it drives.
