How can i shut off tire sensor?

Hi! I bought 4 new tires & the check tire pressure
light has been on ever since. I went back to
Discount Tire Store and they said my tire sensor
was broken , wanted $29.00 to replace it.
Can I just shut that off instead?

I doubt it. Live with it or spend the $29.
