back in the old days the six-alternator diodes went out to a special box mounted on the fender well...nowadays with the "one-wire" alternator this extra hardware is not needed~ sheesh, we ain't payed nuthin'...quality takes time, y'know~
Mr Mark that can't be right, I talked to 3 different auto parts stores and they said it is not located on the alternator which I thought it was. please can you make sure for me this is a 3.3 liter 2006 Town andCountry minivan. and the three stores said it is located in a computer box somewhere on the van they couldn't tell me where
It is external after all: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Duralast-Voltage-regulator/_/N-269e?itemIdentifier=319661_0_0_
Yours may not be identical....some have cooling fins to dissipate heat
I have spent 1/2 hour trying to find the location of this mysterious box and have been getting conflicting information on whether it's even reall external in the 3.3. I wish you luck broussard, really I do I give up
