2004 chrysler town and country radio and power door locks not working

Asked by Emmett Mar 01, 2010 at 09:26 PM about the 2004 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My radio, power door locks and key fob quit working. But if you have the key in the on position, the key fob and door locks work but the radio still does not.

I have the same problem on my '98 T&C. It began after I took the car to the shop to have the battery cables repaired. Is this a fuse issue...or do I need to reset some software somehow?

I am having the same issue! Fuses all are good, pulled the IOD fuse and replaced still not an answer. Disconnected the battery for a half hour and radio and remote locks, doors, and truck still not working. Is there an answer to this problem?

I figured out that it was the circuit board that all the fuses/relays plug into. It is a fairly simple fix, but the board is pretty expensive ($200 -$600 depending on where you get it). A couple of bolts, unplug everything and then do the reverse to install. I never did fix it, finally the car died, (230k miles) so it is no longer an issue. You have to get the exact part number to replace it with. It is on a sticker on the board, but sometimes it is located underneath it, so you must uninstall it to get the number.
