2006 Dodge Ram 1500

I think I am having some computer issues due to a
mistake in boosting the truck I went through the
fuse box and nothing is blown the starter is clicking
but the engine isn’t turning over. Engine is not  
seized it will turn by hand, the ground wire to the
engine is getting hot tho when trying to start the
vehicle witch is very confusing .  I was priced over
6000 to fix this issue I found Control  modules  
Online programmed for 300 what do you guys think
and has anyone ever had this
