my 2005 truck will turn over just fine but not start. I hold the gass pedal all the way to the floor and still nothing. The etc 9 electronic throttle control) light comes on and then goes off with the ignigtion. I did the ignition trick for codes and the only code i got was a c 00 00. what do i do now?

The code I was getting meant nothing was detected. i took off the the throttle body and cleaned it and still notihng. I took a small amount of starting fluid and sprayed in the throttle body and it started but just for a short second then quit. Im thinking my fuel pump has went out. Any suggestions? Thanks

From what you are saying most likely fuel pump. First though check your fuses and relays.

Fuses and relays are all good. Ive dropped the fuel tank but cannot seem to get the breather hose thats connected to the filler hose to come loose. The black groumet connecting it to the metal line wont pop off. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds crazy but I had a friend who owned a Dodge Jeep 2000 and he placed his key in the ignition and the column ignition sensor suddenly went bad and the computer sensed a security issue and shut down any source of ignition to the engine. The engine would crank and crank but the cylinders would just not fire. His mechanic narrowed it down to the sensor in the column ( using an engine analyzer ).
