What's this knocking noise after replacing radiator?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced my thermostat and radiator in my '02 Ram 1500 4.7 v8. My
thermostat closed on me, plus I managed to get a hole in my radiator. However,
after the replacement of my radiator, I have a clicking noise.

Did you overheat the engine when you had a hole in your radiator and lost coolant? I would change the oil at a minimum if the engine got overly hot. Also check the cooling fans and pulleys to see if they are clicking or it's coming from the engine.

Will do. I'll let you know tomorrow. I'm currently not home. My engine did overheat and I lost majority of my coolant and my power steering went out. That's when my thermostat closed up and I had a hole in my radiator

Knocking is never good and usually very expensive.

It's definitely coming from where my hand is

It, according to my grandfather, is the rocker/lifter. I added Marvel Mystery oil stuff to it to help silence it.
