My truck won't start. When I turn the key to the run & start position I get nothing. The gauges don't work. I checked all the fuses, etc. they appear to be good. Anyone have any ideas???

not sure if you got your problem fixed yet or not, but about a year ago a buddy of mine had the same problem with his 93 dakota, now im not too big on the dodge thing, i honestly am a ford guy, so i dont know that much bout dodge except what ive had to do with mine, but anyway, on my buddies dakota, and it wouldnt do it everyday but he would have a starting problem, and all he could do to fix it was to get a new ignition, the conacts were just simplly wore out or loose. but they may not even be your problem, any way thats all i can help you with since im not there to check it out
The red light is a security feature. And your issue is mostly like your battery its dead charge or change it if there is life in your battery take neg cable off for bout 10 mins and then put it back on should reset everything
