O2 heater monitor not ready

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my transmission rebuilt in a transmission shop
because I kept getting codes for transmission problems.
When I get my truck back sounds and runs so much
smoother. I have to get it tested every year in texas for
registration..(emissions) so I take it to be tested and my
battery had been disconnected during the replacement and
cleared the computer . it hasnt completed drive cycles.
None of my monitors are ready....so I take it about 50 miles
I take it to be checked again 3 monitors not ready .... After
mixtures of drive cycle test and driving I clear 200 miles
and take it to be checked... 2 monitors not ready ..cant
pass ..i am now up to 360 miles since I have picked my
truck up and i still have 2 not ready...with no codes ... My
evap system is not ready and my o2 heater is not ready ...
Both of my o2 sensors are brand new.. And all my
connections are clean and tight ....  Both monitors are
showing incomplete ... What can I try to locate why they are
not ready

I have also charged my battery replaced the terminals too , I had just replaced the LDP and purge before transmission was rebuilt .. All fuses are good put new hoses from ldp back to evap canisters

So many things can cause your problem...bad ground connection, bad wiring, bad ECM. It's almost like a crapshoot. Not sure if this is "absolutely" your problem...however...I know these 2nd gen Dodges r finicky about their sensor brands. Something about huge variations in build specs in aftermarket junk that these ECMs just don't like. Either use Mopar brand or what I use; Denso (recommended by online blogger types). I've have had no problems with them. '96 Ram 1500. I can only offer what I've researched and found...I hope this helps.
