Don't know how to check the resistance.
You need an ohm meter or a multi-meter that has a setting for ohms, and if you are not experienced, best have it done. From that article: ".....you might find yourself scratching your head because the sensor you replaced didn't turn off the check engine light." Be sure to watch the video, the top one with the scanner. It's long, ½ hour but you will learn a lot, I did.
