check oil level. If that's fine your oil pump may be going out, or you have blockage or your engine is trashed or on it's way out.

It might not be an engine issue. Oil pressure will drop with engine RPMs (Normal). What dose your gauge read? If you don't have a gauge, is the low oil pressure light coming on? Noise while coming to a stop, could be unrelated to oil pressure.

oil pumps either fail or not they are not fine and then not fine if it comes and goes after warm up it is most likely sucking sludge up on the oil sump screen and the only repair is to remove the oil pan and clean. The real secrete is change it every 3000 miles.
