If the check engine light is on, then have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes. This would let you know what to look at. If the check engine light is not on then it could be a fuel pressure issue and some fuel pressure test would need to be done to determine what component may be bad.
I'm sorry , I forgot to say. A ref MAINTANCE require light was on. I ran a scanner on it didn't read codes on it
I am looking at your starting issue. Would the maintenance required related to an oil change being due? So no codes tells me it may be a fuel issue. I would start looking at the fuel delivery system, doing some fuel pressure test.
I had a Astro van once. I could drive it about 1 hr then it would shut off. It was the fuel pump.
