turn signals won't stay on

turn signal lights won't stay on in my dodge 1999 ram 6 cyl truck.  they go on and then off with the arm engauged down or up .

bad flasher canister. if you pull the in cab fuse cover, youll see two large silver cylinders, those are flasher relays, replace both of them one works the left and right turn signals, the other works the hazard signals.
