5.9 engine from Dodge ram 2500 to a 1500

I have a 5.9 360 engine in a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500, will this engine fit in the
Dodge 1500? Also looking to swap the tranny from the 2500 to the 1500

It may fit but there are significant differences in the engine management systems. I would not recommend you do this unless you are a pro (which by asking the question I'm guessing you are not).
