Why would my headlight switch continue to make a clicking sound?

Asked by Sonya May 07, 2014 at 02:46 PM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I lost all lighting in the truck. No headlights, dash lights, parking lights, nothing. I replaced the headlight switch and all fuses. Turned it on and it blew them all. The headlight switch just makes a constant clicking sound even with the truck cut off.
