have a 97 dodge ram 1500 with 318 5 speed. cranks over but wont start! any ideas?

Check for spark then check for fuel pressure. Repost with what you find and we'll go from there.

Check the Coil, and fuel pump, at the extremes its a Cam or Crank position sensor, also there is a small ceramic resistor block on the firewall which fails as well. other possible issues could be the distributor cap & rotor. hope that helps.

its the BCM ( body control module) . Just had mine replaced by dealership. cars not recieve "$749 for part alone my car would start and then shut off after two seconds. If the lights on the dash board didnt come on I knew it wasn;t goint to start and stay on
