I have a 97 dodge ram 1500 360 engine high idle on start them gets higjer

On start it gies to high
Idle gets a little higher
Stays that way ingear what is the 9roboem
and how do i fix it

What RPM's? Most likely the idle air control valve on the rear side of the throttle body is dirty or bad.
