Question type: Maintenance & Repair

well this is just some thing im wondering about a newer ram wont have it but, on my friends 96 1500 he has have alot of what i wanna call throttle play on the 360, his gas pedal has alot of room meening that if i hook my toe under the pedal and pull up that it has alot of space moving, im first wondering if any one else has this and if its a wise idea to tighten the cable

Both my older rams did that too, i dont think it had anything to do with the throttle cable being loose. i havent tried that with my 2007, but its drive by wire so there is no throttle cable, which i dislike, throttle response is terrible.
