it's fuel injected , you're not "pumping " any throttle , there should be codes if it's running that bad

no you have to feather the throttle to make it stop coughing in the intake does not do it all the time no check engine light and fuel pressure is a constant 50 psi. i have been a tech for 24 years 6 of them at a dodge dealer and everything checks out . but no codes and replacing the parts that were known to make them run bad , i was just thinking someone else experienced the same thing.

Friend of mine had this happen. 2006 Ram 1500. Same symptoms, same codes. His son hooked up the diagnostic tool. Told his pops to start unplugging sensors. He unplugged the oil sending unit sensor. His truck started right up and runs like a champ. The oil sending unit is drawing to much current thrust reducing voltage to the other sensors, causing them to basically shut down. YMMV.... He says when he installs a DODGE oil sending unit, and it does the same thing, he bets there is something wrong in that circuit. Ymmv
