well the other day i went to my local adirondack tire looking for new tires i was looking for tires in the range of a 295/75 /16 but he told me the largest tire i could put on my rig before i had steering and suspension issues was a 265/75/16 and that any thing after that i would need a lift, so if some one could answer my question that would be awesome.

Well depending on how much clearance you have without rubbing, also its harder on your vehicles ball joints and front end by putting big tires on but I had a chevy 1500 with 2" lift and had 33x12.50x15 and never had a problem with ball joints and the where also deep dished rims, I think you would have to either suspension lift it of torsion bar cranked up and block the rear up 2-3"
well as every one with a 2nd gen ram 1500 knows, we all have obnoxiously large wheel wells, but i went to my local JD tire and talked to one of my buddies and he said hed let me try a set of 32s and that he garuntees that i wont have any rubbing issues, and as for it being harder on my front end i threw a dana 60 upfront instead of the stock 44 so im not very worried about any strength issues (cough cough no CV joints here) lol
I had a 99 with 305/70/16 on factory mags they rubbed a little bit on the lower control arm. If you pushed them out a little this would a non issue
My 96 4x4 1500 has 285/75/16 stock rims stock height no rubbing
I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 and I wanna put 305/70/16 on my stock 16 in rims. will it work?

With a 94-01 dodge ram 4x4 doesnt matter if it's 1500 2500 or 3500 you can fit 285s on it which are equivalent to 33s and they won't rub or be to much stress on your ball joints, I currently have 33s on mine with no problems

I have 285/75/16 on my truck and they fit fine. I wouldn't go any bigger, but you'll definitely need bigger gears in your diff, I've lost so much power with the stock gears.
I have a 97 1500 and I put 315 on it but also have a 7" lift had the truck for about a yr with no problem except tire noise because they r Mt
Is it ok to put 31 x 10. 50 R 15 LT on a 2014 ram 1500
01 1500 with 4inch lift, got 35's on it, 315 75 16's No rub.
Shit, I have 35s on my 1998 Dodge Ram. Rub like a mofo
Just because they fit under the rig does not mean the speedo will read correct...
Ok I have a 2001 dodge ram 2wd I want to put 16x10s on she is all stock and I do not want to lift so what would be a good tire to get with no rub or lil to none ... any help would be appreciated
