Question type: Maintenance & Repair
You can drive it about a qurorter of a mile than it just stops pulling. When you
unhook the battery than hook it back up you can drive another quorter of a
mile than it stops pulling agein. Any ideas.

clarify pulling? does the truck rev up and just not move? if so you have some transmission issues

It will pull fine then it stops and will not pull agein until you unhook the battery and and then it will pull another 500 yards then stop agein. When it does pull it moves fine
what do you mean by pulls? are you describing the vehicle accelerating and then stalling? does it accelerate and stop moving but the engine still revs? please be a little more specific so I can help you

The truck runs good but the transmission stop working. And it will not move in any gear until u unhook and hook back up the battery.
then you have a failure in your transmission or ECU - I recommend having someone scan it to see if there is any DTC's stored and go from there

Do you think it could be a senser in the transmission cause the transmission shifts fine when it moves.
it could be - but until you have it scanned you wont know for sure what it is. unfortunately transmission failures are common in these trucks
Have someone scan it for failure codes - otherwise everyone is just guessing - I chased a similar problem in a 99 only to have the transmission overhauled in the end
