I'm getting no power to the coil what could it be

Start by checking the ignition feed wire to the coil for power when the key is in the "Run" (NOT start) position. Look online for wiring diagrams.

I had same problem it was the capacitor under the distributor cap 25 bucks truck fired right up. I was banging my head for days finally just changed it on a whim...

I have a new cord a new distributor with the distributor cap and rotor new spark plugs and wire new time chain and gear
