Dodge ram 1500 water pump

I've recently purchased a 95 Dodge Ram
1500 4x4 extended cab 5.9 l I'm in need of
replacing the water pump on it but was
wondering if water pump with the serial
number 295-1571 which I do believe belongs
to a 70s 71 Dodge Charger from what I've
looked up I'm wondering if that water pump
will work for my 5.9 l 1500 Dodge Ram water
pump???

did you ask the last owner why that particular water pump was in the pickup? other than the obvious...it fits on the timing chain cover.
