Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've got a '94 dodge ram 1500 big v-8 that keeps blowing the 40 amp fuse to the AC/power windows/ starter. I'm trying to rundown a short. Any advice or thoughts on finding it?

Hi crocodilian77, This is a difficult thing to do especially if the problem only happens when you're driving. I would start with checking your wiring harness connections. Make sure they're clean and connected properly. You could connect an Ohm meter to the fuse connectors, but this may not do the trick. You may be better off in the long run to take it into your trusted mechanic. Good luck!
