When I was changing my license plate lights one of the wires touch the metal bumper and now my dashboard lights don't turn on I have checked the fuses and light bulbs and still nothing mysignal lights

with a tester, see if there is any power at the "hot button" with a muti-meter~ if there is none, be sure that your box of fuses did not have a "dud" in that~ so power at the button...of course the lightswitch on...use the multi-meter to if there is power plug the lightbulb back in...yes I think you've got a bad fuse!~

wires will not melt...fuses will pop~ so the fuse that you put in...take it out and put a Brand-new one in it's place...of course you are replacing THE RIGHT FUSE?
