Dodge ram 1500. 1994

I change my thermostat  and temperature reading
unit  and now the tempetaure reads a lil bit over
the half way which is 200  which it never did
before.    What can be the reason why the
temperature reads higher  now?

Do you remember the temp rating on the thermostat you bought and installed. May have been higher rated thermostat.

Follow the air bleed procedure for your car/engine. May have this on a youtube video or a net page. There are some general steps you can take to increase the possibility of getting all air out and there is youtube videos on this too for sure I saw some a few months ago.

Yes the thermosthat had the lil jiggle pin in it. I will lift the front and see wat happens thanks
