i understand that i have two chains would that make a difference if only one chain broke or if it has just jumped timing
the starter was my first idea so i took it off. my van felt like it jumped timing and would not start. later the same day it started with no problem. .........i drove it home and added 2 qts of oil and the next day i drove it about 4 miles and again it felt like the timing jumped and it shut off. now the engine appears to be seized. never had any rods knocking and once in awhile i can hear some rattling of the rod bearings but not very often. any ideas
