Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 ford f250 gas. I've only had her as my driver for just over a month as she was given to me by my parents. I haven't had any problems other than the simple blinker blowing out up until now. I was sitting in the senior lot of my school this morning, the truck was running and all was great. The headlights were on, and i happened to look down and realize that my dash lights were off as well as the clock on my radio. I got out and looked at the from of my truck and the headlights were workig just fine so i got back in and looked at the dash again. It was still out. Now, heres the odd part. When i got back in i tried turning the dial to turn the lights off and as soon as i did, the dash lights came back on! I really have no idea what could be wrong because oviously the fuzes and bulbs arent blown otherwise they wouldnt have come on at all. Please help guys. (No photo to attach, sorry guys, school computer. But she's beautiful red, half door extended cab extended bed.)

Your headlight switch has a dimmer on it and can be adjusted. It has a knob that rolls up and down to dim or brighten dash/radio lights.
