F250 solenoid troubleshooting

The small wire on the starter solenoid coming from
the switch is constantly hot. Is this because of a
bad key switch or a short somewhere down the
line?

there are several starter solenoid ... one on the inside of the passenger fender and one on the starter itself . Both are hot at all times
