my Lincoln lost power and Check Engine light went on, also the Power Reduced light sensor light went on, and Check Transmission light went on. The car lost power and I barely made it home? Any ideas?

a common problem with the 3.9 v6 is timing chain tensioners wearing out early, sometimes causing a chain to jump a tooth and that would cause power loss.

An overheated transmission can cause this condition too. The computer senses a problem and can reduce power to keep from trashing the trans. Have the codes (DTCs) checked.
