Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New to group thanks for add. So I have
a 2006 mercury mountaineer just
bought in April. It all started last week
I was driving and the dash went crazy
all kinds of light were on it turned my
A/c off so in turn I pulled over (still
running but everything going nuts) and
put in park and turned off well it fired
right back up would not shift out of
park. My spouse came and took shifter
area apart and we got it home. On way
home no brake lights no turn signals
so we checked all fuses replaced what
was blown. Drove it to the store or
down the street well i went about
24hrs of not driving it and now the
whole dash wont light up or turn
over?? We checked started its fine has
brand new battery. Ive look all over
youtube asked people and im still not
getting anywhere.

We have got the shifter fixed but no
dash lights and wont turn over the
radio turns on and A/c works again we
checked fuses to see if any are not
getting power and the one that is not
is ignition switch power and or cluster
theft LED and a manual/DEATC

Sounds like your Control Module is going bad and may need to be changed out for a new one,
