Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I replaced 2 front tyres.. but the tyre shop put 235
60 r18 on the front..the back have 225 65 r18. My
4wd light flickers on and off and now have a bad
knocking sound. Could the tyres affect the car this
way

225/65R18 tyres revolutions per mile are 684 NEXT 235/60R18 tyres revolutions per mile are 693... So close (4/10s") in height. I doubt this is the case or cause of the issue. Check scan for codes check for a WSS wheel speed sensor code If present visit the tyre centre let them know also have have axles / CV joints inspected.
I would say it is very likely that the odd size tires caused the issue, especially if the problems showed up after the tires were replaced. I would take it back to the tire shop and have them put the proper size on the vehicle.

Porky, you never mix tire sizes up like that. I would get it corrected ASAP before you tear up the transfer case or something else. Don't save money this way when it's going to cost more on the long run!
