I have a 1998 Oldsmobile 88 that has a clunking sound in the drivers side tire area....possibly the caliper... terribly loud noise. . Help!

Clunking sound seems to come from my drivers side front tire ...sounds like it could be the calipers ...I have had the brakes checked out...OK, tires rotated and balanced...OK, but sound still keeps it up!  Does anyone have any suggestions?
