Why won't my key move in the ignition of my 2005 Saab 9-3

Sometimes the steering wheel locks, and you have to turn both the steering wheel and key at the same time. That might help.
Do you have another key you can try? also the saab is known for getting debrie in the ignition since in most saabs its in the center console. If thats the case you might be able to clean it out with some compressed air.
I’ve already tried the steering wheel isn’t locked, and we’ve done all the compressed air in the ignition...I’m totally stuck nothing is working, both fobs have ne batteries...
Get in the car, click on open door close door each 5 times simultaneous an d the key wil work again.
Disconnect the battery for 2 minutes to reset the computer should reactivate the electrons.

On my brothers 2002 Saab 9-3 we were having this same problem and I just took off the key cover by rotating clockwise then pulling it off and pressing the ignition release on the right of the cylinder and it suddenly started working. Hope this helps
