Road trip with Subaru Outback 2004-2009

Hi I am looking to buy Subaru Outback 2.5 with moonroof for USA road trip I
don’t want to spend more then 5000 on car .i will drive 20 000 miles. Any
advice how many miles is big service or what to watch out when buying.

Have a mechanic check it out first before buying but you will probably have difficulty finding a good car for that price. Look out for leaking head gaskets. If you are back east avoid rust buckets.
