05 vw passat tdi no power when cold

No power after timing belt was done no check engine light. But after it warms up runs
fine

The timming may not br properly set ( too far advanced or retarded ) causing the car to lag ( power loss ) when cold.

while working around an engine, sometimes a needed connector is not fully seated, or comes off, like the furl enrichment valve ,or something to that effect, the brain doesn't always monitor such things as that
