I have a golf tdi 1.9 04 plate i have had it at
a garage for over a week and he is at a
dead end he has found no faults he has
replaced the throttle body the car will start
and run for 10 mins then cut out while
driving then won't start again unless you
squirt some stuff into the throttle body but
again it will drive for 10 mins and cut out
any ideas ? Thanks

I can only guess from online. The "tech" can't find anything a bit odd he scanned the VCDS Vws name for the computer with a VAG scanner right what are the codes? he checked fuel pressure so we know that's OK...Diesels are even more basic than there gasoline counterpart engines.. I suggest a very close look at the CKP.. have your tech use his oscilloscope to check the wave pattern of the CKP sensor monitor the Data stream UNTIL it Stalls.Regards Oh , your techs a L2 right? a start to know whats going on!
