2004 vw passat, check oil pressure

My wife car just started to turn off at random
moment. The engine will just turn off when driving
down the road. She got it started again and got it
home. The next day before we could take it to a
shop or anything the check oil pressure light came
on. The engine is running a little bit louder but mow
much. Please help.

It sounds as if the oil pump is not [pump oil, you can try using an oil flush maybe something stick in the pick-up screen, if not its go to go to the shop to be replaced !
