2004 vw passat

Asked by GuruB823L Jan 12, 2019 at 07:23 PM about the 2004 Volkswagen Passat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 passat that won't start right away in
the mornings. It takes me about 15 to 30 mins
some days of just pumping the gas and turning the
key before it starts. Once started it runs fine and
starts up with no issues for the rest of the day. Any
ideas on what can be causing this issue?
I've had the battery tested, it's good. Ive had the
starter and alt checked, both good.

How about a new fuel filter and have a look at your vacuum lines. If possible see what the pressure is at the fuel rail. Good Luck!

It needs a new gas filter and put a bottle of Lucas injecter cleaner in the tank with a half tank of gas. And go for a ride on the E,way for like 20min. And you will be Good...
