2001 Jetta won't start after sitting in underground parking for 10 months
My jetta won't start after its been sitting for almost a year, the key buttons don't work
either, nothing works, windows, lights, mirrors etc. I did try to jump it with cables attached
to my husbands car. Lights, mirrors, windows started working but the engine wasn't
turning on. The engine sounded like it was trying to start but it only lasted a second.
I did a bit of reading online, some say the key needs to be recoded, some say the
immobilizer needs to be reset, whatever that means. But all issues online start from a car
the has power but a failed engine. My jetta has NO power and a failed engine.
Please help
