oil leak

I have a 99 beetle and leaks alot of oil. Ive replaced the lower oil seal but not the top one. yesterday I
warmed it up in the morning and noticed that all my oil leaked . please help before I take it in to the shop.

Did you do your own oil change? If so, did you lube the filter seal ring before screwing it on?
