AC not cooling properly

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn on vehicle and drive 20 minutes air flow decreases and ten increases. Stop
for errand. Return to vehicle, turn on and the next leg of trip car is ok for 10
minutes. Then same dcr air flow and increase in temp. The. Small stop At gas
station. Finish and turn on and good for 5 minutes and then wears off exactly the
same   At wear off point has small temp musty smell.  Changed large can below
glove box Lat year. Car is in garage now. When I leave in a few hours it will be fine
for next 20 minutes. It is in 100's and have kids to transport. Looking for most cost
effective solution

check for a vacuum leak....also is the freon full????
